Cool She looks OK for a dead girl.

    Just have to share this:

Two years ago today, I was diagnosed with Stage Four Breastcancer, and given a 30% chance of survival, and 6 months to live.
For reasons too numerous to mention, I had no medical aid. The chemo would've cost R14k per treatment; 3 treatments per round, and 12 rounds to begin with. It was financially impossible.
I cut my long dark hair short, and dyed it blond (it was on my bucket list) in preparation for the chemo.
I am a bit of a fatalist, so I waited to see whether the money would miraculously appear. It didn't.
I put on my big girl panties and dealt.
I did my research and narrowed ALL cancers down to having been caused by three factors: Blood pH (Acidic); Oxygen Deficiency, and Emotional.
I started a stringent alternative protocol - including weird and wonderful and airy fairy treatments such as floatation tank therapy, meditation, reiki, etc etc etc.
Literally seven weeks later, I was in remission.

So tonight, I am opening a huge bottle of wine (yes you may drink wine while killing cancer), and celebrating with those who stood by me - they can be counted on less than one hand.

I feel like this day should be made a public holiday - called 'I Can! Day' (Also the name of my NPO).

I lost a friend to cancer years back, she was also told she only had 6 months to live, the doctor told her she wouldnt see christmas with her family, she managed to make it through another 2. She had managed to adopt a child after a long battle with the mother who just wanted more and more money, the adoption was finalised and a couple of months later she got the terrible news about the cancer, the doctor told hear that a small operation would sort it out, but when she went in for the op, they found it had spread too much, closed her up and told her she had 6 months max. She was determined not to let it get the better of her. She use to shout at me when i arrived on my bike and hit me in tears, because as she always said, i would ride like there was no tomorrow without a care in the world and all she wanted to do was live, she did everything right, lived a good clean life, worked hard and praised the Lord, she couldnt understand why she was being punished and not me.

    You go girl.

Congratulations Darkangelyaya - keep up the protocol, no matter how flakey it may seem. It is your body, your choice and your life. Enjoy it to the full.

    You deserve champagne, not wine!

Being positive is half the battle won. May you have many more anniversaries and may you live to have natural grey hair in your twilight years.

Go on Girl! If you heard that clinking of glass & wondered who it was, confession: it was me celebrating with you! Next year, this time we do it again.
