    No drop-off that I've noticed. What industry are you in?

    You have not completed your profile KEITHO, so we can not comment on your business, whether it is industry related or maybe some other problem.

    One of my clients reported today that he is working extra shifts to meet additional orders as his competition failed to deliver. Hope it was not your business!

    Thanks KEITHO. By completing your profile, other members can see what you do, which may lead to business or referrals.
    Remember, the Forum is also a form of networking amongst members.

    Do you also supply equipment and can you advise on a suitable CCTV system?
    I may be contacting you for a quote in the next couple of weeks, depending on a Body Corporate decision.

    Have you ever thought about adding access control,door entry,gate automation,legal covert camera installations to your existing CCTV business?Get hold of all your old clients and ask if they need maintenance done eg.camera cleaning,adjusting camera angles,cutting obstructions away.Often you get more business once you are on site.

    Use them or lose them....

    I sat in my office and started cold calling service stations... I really did get some good results..
    this response indicates that my marketing is not sufficient...

    This is the ultimate question

    Use the internet to your advantage, done right it won't cost you anything (other than your bandwidth usage, and time). Write some useful articles on your website, about security, or maintenance of camera's, etc and post "teasers" (i.e. short intro's) on places like Facebook, Twitter, forums, blogs, etc.

    A good product/service without effective marketing is like a dead fish drifting down stream.

    With reference to another thread about marketing, the product is more important, BUT;
    Once you have the product, you can never sit back and just wait for the business to come in, you have to work at it all the time.

    People are bombarded by marketing and all kinds of selling techniques every day. So make your product/service stand out in all this advertising noise. Join a business forum, do networking and apply the good advice given by Rory and Rudy. When the budget allows, you may place ads in the media, but while you are still on a tight budget, best is to start with existing customers.
