When you get these types of emails ... It's a scam

    "Hello

I have gone through your profile Linkedln and I found out that you are sharing the same last name with my late client. He has funds here which are yet to be claimed but nobody has come up for the claim because he has no relatives that are known to me, please let me know if you can assist and stand in to make this claim since you have the same last name. Waiting to hear from you.

Pls do respond with your phone number so we can get to talk in details

    Regards,
    Fergus Mcdonald"

    Hi Raymond,

As one TFSA member previously pointed out(can't recall who), I must be a millionare by now by virtue of the fact of all the lotteries that I have won!

I could have even got a large trunk filled with US dollars ............. ALL I had to do was just go and collect it in Cape Town off a boat that was arriving there ...... stupid of me .................. I couldnt get to CT that week ........

Ps . Oh Yes I also was going to get a very large sum of money from Iraq - apparantly a soldier had found it there and somehow had got hold of me ......... so I could just HAVE it ......... so many generous people out there ..... giving away these millions ....

This particular scam artist failed to realise one simple thing, soldiers are not that well paid, why would this soldier not simply just keep that loot for himself instead of kindly voluntering it to you..
What is scary though acording to Carte Blanche's recent expose, is that there is now a new scam artists, the offer a woman true love scam artist, you never meet him but he facinates you with his underwater adventures as a diver working on submarines and he gets you to transfer him 100's of thousands of rands. Now here's the really bizarre thing, these woman know about all these lottery scams we now talking about but guess what they transfer the money!!!!!
