    Dose any one know which takes preferance, the main agreement or the basic conditions of employment act?

    Collective agreements can override aspects of the basic conditions of employment normally required by the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.

    See section 49 of the Basic conditions of Employment Act.
    The trouble with opportunity is it normally comes dressed up as work.
