    Is it holidays yet?

Has the festive season started yet?

Where have all the clients gone?

The past week has been dreadfully quiet, from a business point of view - it's as if someone threw the switch on my business.

The phone is quiet, my inbox is boring - have I offended everybody?

Even my newsletters, which generally precipitate enquiries, seem to be falling on deaf ears...

Sorry, no Christmas presents for anyone, if this continues for much longer.

No sign of holiday fever biting yet on my side. We're in very different lines of business, though.

The lights are up in the malls so the holidays must be here already.

i have had a difficult year...lost a few customers...due to bad staff decisions...had the shingles and rib issue...which seems to be easing off a little...but i have managed to turn it around...we are very busy...working right thru...i will take some time off...but when i do i have my other bussiness which is about to take off from jan...so hopefully i will get time on all the public holidays to catch up with the manufacturing side...so that i have enough stock for the demand...at the moment i take deposits build the product wait for the other components to be made up...then only supply...from next year i will carry stock of all the components...

so no...holidays are still a pipe dream for me...maybe one day i will manage my money properly...invest and save a little for year end and for those raining days...but for now it is balls to wall trying keep up with my fetish for expensive machines...and toys...or i suppose i could just see all my toys and enjoy life a little...not....

oh by the way i need like a 24 000 btu aircon and 51 inch led tv...surround sound for my workshop...so i can follow the forum... pump the tunes and watch a bit of naughty asian babes...while sweating away in my workshop so if anyone has a contact who can organise with santa...i will leave tea and scones

We're about the same as past years for volume of work. Our overall margins are just a few percent lower but we're working on that. We had a couple of quieter months at the beginning of last winter which is still having a knock-on effect

In my next life I want to come back as an accountant
