    occupancy sensors

i have been getting more enquiries about these sensors. a lot of companies are installing them to save power.
anybody know of good makes. i see acdc and radiant lighting sells them, but i dont know if they are any good.
they have built in lux sensors, which should switch the lights off when the natural light is bright enough. i'm wondering if the lights interfere with the lux sensor.

The best one I've used is the Lutron with PIR and ultrasonic combination but I can't remember which exact model it was. There is a Lutron agent in Cape Town but take your cheque book with you if you get my drift. I haven't tried the ACDC or the Radiant offerings but my advice would be to choose a dual technology model with PIR and ultrasonics. What make do ADCD supply?

If they're rebranded as ACDC then it would be a good idea to road test a couple first. If they were a high-end or well known make they wouldn't rebrand them with their own name. Not saying they're rubbish but I would be cautious before jumping in with both feet.

If you try them please let me know what you think of them.
