Actually, this whole episode has got me wondering on a few fronts:

The obvious one is what education program are you in?
I ask because it doesn't seem to be equipping you too well to handle this assignment and knowing what we're dealing with here might be a step closer to solving the problem.

Second, did you ever read the first PM you would have got as a new member?
It would certainly improve your chances of people finding it in their hearts to help you.

Obviously the commercial self-promotion stuff doesn't apply in your instance, but the issue of forum ettiquette certainly does. In particular, the repeat posting is wearing pretty thin.

Third, I'm wondering how you think you've got the cred to start telling off other folk around here?
If it wasn't for the fact that I'm pretty interested in the underlying cause of your pattern of participation here, I would have wiped out every trace of you ever having been on this site by now.

Or to paraphrase my understanding of the question - if a business does not pay the VAT it owes to SARS:

1. You will receive a penalty of 10% on the value you owe.
2. Interest will accrue on the outstanding money from the day it was due until the day it is finally paid.
3. Any payments made against the debt will first be allocated against interest and penalties, and only therafter applied against the principle debt.
4. If you do not pay over the amount due, eventually SARS will issue an IT88 instruction to your bank for the amount due, and the bank will pay over to SARS whatever funds you have available in your bank account up to the amount being claimed by SARS - without any notice to you whatsoever.
